Topic 10: Online Sharing & A Hour of Code

1. So, I took part in the Hour of Code, which was honestly more like a half hour. It wasn't too challenging to do and I found that I was pretty good at it.

2. I chose Padlet because it was easier to use and I really like how it is formatted.

3 . Which tools do you think you will use in the future, and how?
I don't see myself using any of the tools as of right now, but I might use Padlet for social media. I could put it on my blog or other locations that allow the use of HTML. I'll probably use the avatars for character designs and I'm already using Google Drive for schoolwork.

  4.  What were your favorite discoveries or exercises on this learning journey?
I enjoyed seeing new websites and finding cool little tools that I could possibly use if I want to do a project in the future. I liked doing the Hour of Code as well as the avatar, which were pretty fun.
      5.  Do you have any suggestions or changes for this tutorial? Students have been completing this tutorial for about 5 years.  Please, seriously consider your recommendations and add some that will make this a more useful experience for library assistants in the semesters ahead.
I think some of the websites will need to be changed since they're a little out of date, but otherwise I think this tutorial is good.

    1. Even though I don't need to comment, nice job. It was a little hard to see your answer to number 4 though. And I added a little something to your Padlet... :)

    2. Thank you for all your serious yet fun work on these blog postings. I value your comments and have updated the tutorial as we went along. Please let me know if you can specifically think of any other sites to add to make it more relevant.
